Stockholm University, Karolinska, and Stockholm School of Economics are all within 30 minutes by public transport. There is a large Hemkop supermarket under 5 minutes by foot, and the beautiful Gasverket area about 10 minutes by foot, which currently offers great restaurants, public transport museum, and a bouldering hall, and promises to offer much more in the coming future. For sports enthusiasts, there is a large sports area good for ice skating in the winter and playing soccer in the summer walking distance called Östermalms idrottsplats.
